The hit show Glee is experiencing yet another tragedy. Naya Rivera is the 3rd star of the Glee show to have tragically died. Her death comes after the deaths of her cast members Cory Monteith and Mark Salling.

Rivera’s death coincides with the seventh anniversary of Monteith’s death. She was 33 years old and a mother of 1 son, Josey.

Rivera went to Lake Piru with her son Josey and rented a boat. However, a few hours later, the vessel was discovered with the boy on board, but Naya couldn’t be found 

Naya Rivera was found in a Southern California lake Monday after she went missing on Wednesday july 8th.

In the preface to her autobiography, Rivera wrote that motherhood had changed her life and given it perspective. She said she was braver, too.

That bravery is what made her jump into the lake to save her son. She used up all her energy to rescue her son. What a gift from a mother to her son. What brave and unforgettable sacrifice she has made to her 4 year old baby.

On 2 July, she posted a selfie with the poignant caption: ‘no matter the year, circumstance, or strifes everyday you’re alive is a blessing. make the most of today and every day you are given. tomorrow is not promised.’

Naya Rivera’s final Instagram post came just before she went missing.She shared a beautiful selfie of herself kissing Josey her son, with the caption: ‘Just the two of us”

Josey reported , “my mother jumped into the lake, but did not come back up”.
