It pains my heart writing about a thing like this. I still cannot believe in this generation of ours, in this era, this kind of punishment can be dished out to people, young children for that matter. For a mere phone which costs peanuts to obtain. Where is the juvenile justice system? Where is human rights ? Where is the law to protect people from jungle justice?

This is barbaric! This happened at Komarock Estate, Nairobi, Kenya.

Reports show these boys were apprehended after stealing a woman’s phone. They were beaten by the public and strip of their clothes before burning them alive.

The photos above show the two boys allegedly naked and having a tyre around them. The second phone picture shows burning flames which is said to be the boys being burnt to death.

The Buruburu police chief , Adamson Bungei went ahead to condemn the attack on the boys and advised the youths to stop crime. “It is time the youth stop involving in crime since the fruits are so bitter. But members of the public should also not take action into their own hands,” he said.

But then again, will no one pay for the murder of these two young boys? Where is justice? Will no one account for the injustice on these young kids?

There are many who steal and crumble a whole nation’s economy. Steal and take away jobs from youths and parents which only make their kids go out on the streets to fend for themselves to find a daily bread. Those ones are not harmed. Those are the same people parading our high offices and not accounting for the millions they embezzle.
