This year, we’ve sadly said goodbye to many notable celebrities. With a heavy heart we have had to bid adieu to many icons and stars we look up to.

In August ,Chadwick Boseman, the Black Panther, quit the scene. The 42 year-old had quietly been battling colon cancer since 2016. Chadwick Chadwick persevered through it all, and brought to life many of the films you have come to love so much.

Kobe Bryant, is one of the most popular sports figures in Los Angeles. He spent his entire 20-year career with the Los Angeles Lakers. He is a celebrity around the globe. He sustained immediate fatal injuries when their helicopter slammed into a hillside outside Los Angeles in January. Kobe died together with his daughter and other passengers.

In July, Glee stars and fans alike shared heartfelt tributes to Naya Rivera. It was said that Naya had tragically died trying to save her son who had fallen in the lake. Naya Rivera is the 3rd star of the Glee show to have tragically died. She died at age 33.

30 year- old Eddie Hassell, who’s best known for his work in the acclaimed movie “The Kids Are All Right” and on the NBC series “Surface,” was shot and killed in Grand Prairie, Texas, early on November.

Nikki McKibbin,42, found fame as a contestant on the first season of “American Idol where she emerged 3rd. She died in October after she suffered an aneurysm.

The nonsense housekeeper from the show “Two and a Half men” popularly known as Berta died from complications of a cardiac arrest. Berta (Conchata Ferrell) died in October. Berta was 77.

The 39 year old Former WWE star Shad Gaspard went missing after he was swept under waves and caught in a riptide while swimming at a Venice, California. He went swimming with his son who was saved but Shad went under the water and did not resurface until 3days later where he was found about a mile from the beach.

Gregory Tyree Boyce, who’s best known for playing Tyler Crowley in the first film in “The Twilight Saga,” was found dead together with his girlfriend, Natalie Adepoju in Las Vegas.
