Demi Lovato announced on Wednesday morning (May 19) that after the past year of reflection she now identifies as non-binary and is changing her pronouns to they/them.
The 28-year-old “Sorry Not Sorry,” “Heart Attack” and “Stone Cold” singer explained in their new podcast;
“Over the past year and a half, I’ve been doing some healing and self-reflective work. And through this work, I’ve had the revelation that I identify as nonbinary.”

Demi Lovato further explained that changing their pronouns to they/them;
“best represents the fluidity I feel in my gender expression and allows me to feel most authentic and true to the person I both know I am and still am discovering.”

“I think it’s important because I want to use these pronouns that feel right to me. I also just don’t want people to be so afraid of messing up that they don’t try to use them,”
It does feel good to be you and be happy with who you are. People do have different selves and different circumstances make them react differently.
In other words, we all adjust our behaviors and pretend to some extent. With Demi Lovato Coming out to identify as “they/them” really gives them the possibility to be exactly who they are and HAPPY.
