Fashion mogul, Peter Nygard has agreed to be extradited from Canada to the United States where he faces several charges of r@pe and s#x trafficking.
Nygard has reportedly signed a consent form agreeing to be extradited to the U.S. and face his charges down there, but in order for that to happen, Canada’s justice minister has to greenlight this decision.
In December 2020 Peter Nygard was arrested in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. He has been in custody ever since. Peter Nygard is facing several charges of r@pe and s#x trafficking. Nygard, had been denied bail on the grounds he might tamper with witnesses or his accusers. The lawyer representing the Canadian government, Scott Farlinger, had opted not to fight the extradition.

The disgraced fashion designer can apply for judical interim release or bail while the new justice minister confirms or denies his extradition.
However, Nygard’s lawyer Brian Greenspan has confirmed to the court that the fashion designer has consented to the extradition application. He also mentionned Nygard understood it’s significance, stating:
‘He wants to face these charges,’
More than 50 women have sued Nygard, alleging he sexually abused them.
Talk of a way to end a legacy.
Two of Peter Nygard’s sons, filled a civil lawsuit against their dad. They alleged in a civil lawsuit that Nygard hired a female escort to r@pe them when they were underage.

Another son, Kai Bickle, said he turned on his dad. Kaid began cooperating with authorities after he saw his dad behave inappropriately with an 8-year-old girl.

Peter Nygard facing several charges but has denied the allegations against him.
At a bail hearing in Canada, Lawyers of the fashion baron and alleged child abuser called his continued imprisonment a “death sentence”.
Early last year, the FBI raided Nygard International’s Times Square offices. He then stepped down as chairman of the once-successful clothing label, which has since filed for bankruptcy.
