Like in any domain, it is no surprise when personalities clash in Hollywood. When this happens, irrespective of who is to blame, some careers take major hits. No matter the size of the star, their brightness, no Hollywood celebrity is immune to being shunned by their red-carpet peers. When this happens, these stars enter the dreaded Hollywood Blacklist. Here are some Hollywood stars who have, for one reason or another, ended up blacklisted.

Charlie Sheen

Charlie Sheen was a household name for decades because of his acting. He was well known for the major role he plated in “Two and a Half Men”. Charlie was then, one of the highest paid TV actors in Hollywood, but he hasn’t worked steadily since 2014. In the middle of the eighth season of “Two and a Half Men”, Charlie had a series of inexplicably eccentric interviews and stunts which bumped up his popularity even higher. This Behavior did cost him his role in “Two and a Half Men”. He has not been very active on screen ever since then.

Mo’nique

Even though Mo’nique won an Oscar for her role in Precious, she ultimately lost the war in Hollywood. The actress did not care to continue with press engagements. “Mo’Nique is a creative force to be reckoned with. Her demands through Precious were not always in line with the campaign. Lee Daniels  the director of “Precious”, eventually confirmed the actress had been blacklisted due to her lack of commitment to the film.

Rose McGowan

Rose McGowan was one of the women of “Charmed”. Sometime in 1997, she was raped by Harvey Weinstein, who gave her $100,000 to buy her silence. Weinstein had her blacklisted in the industry. The ‘Charmed’ actress has slammed the way her allegations were handled, insisting she was the only one who got the “blame” for what happened. Harvey has denied all claims of non-consensual sex made against him. He has been sacked from The Weinstein Company and his wife Georgina Chapman has left him in the wake of the allegations.

Isaiah Washington

Isaiah Washington is an actor that millions of people around the globe easily recognize thanks to his time on “Grey’s Anatomy” where he is best known for his role as Dr. Preston Burke. Washington did engage in some feud which made him to leave the show. one of which was him getting into a physical altercation with Patrick Dempsey, another male cast of the hit series. This must have been a terrible work environment for both stars and even others on the show. Isaiah Washington claims he was forced out of Hollywood because he expressed anti-gay sentiments.

Katherine Heigl

 Katherine Heigl was a sought-after actress several years ago, but no more. She is considered difficult and unprofessional. Her mother, who is also her manager, doesn’t make things any better or easier to cope with. Her reputation is so bad that many people in Hollywood won’t even consider her for roles. This took a serious toll on her mental health.
