Turkish Footballer Admits to Killing his 5Year Old son and his body has been exhumed for further investigation.

Though doctors at the Dortcelik Children’s Hospital in the city of Bursa, confirmed Karim, the 5-year-old son of Cevher Toktas, died of natural causes related to covid-19, the 32-year-old Turkish footballer walked into the police station and admitted to killing his own son. Cevher Toktas was born on September 13th ,1987 (aged 32) and played as a center back in an amateur league for Turkey’s Super Lig. Between 2007 and 2009, Toktas played for the Hacettepe soccer team, which also competed in the Turkish top-tier Super League.

Karim had a high fever and breathing difficulties and was rushed to hospital on Thursday April 23rd according to local news reports. The doctors feared both father and son were infected by the corona virus which is currently raging havoc in the entire world, and decided to place both of them in quarantine.

On the same day, the 5year old was rushed to intensive care where he later died.

Doctors didn’t find reason to look beyond the current corona virus pandemic because the symptoms the 5year old presented were same as those of Corona Virus patients. Karim was later buried on the same day.

Shockingly, 11 days later, on Monday May 04th 2020, Karims father, Cevher Toktas, went to the police station and handed himself over, confessing he was responsible for his son’s death.  He claimed to have suffocated the 5-year old for 15minutes with a pillow, before calling doctors for help, so as to avoid suspicions. The boy was rushed to the intensive care where he later died.

The football star claimed “he never loved” his son: “I never loved him, even when he was born, and I can’t state why; I have no mental issues.”
