NBA playoffs: Minnesota Timberwolves knock out Denver Nuggets. The Minesota Timberwolves won the series against the Denver nuggets 4 – 3 in a controversial game 7, to qualify for the NBA western conference finals.
The Timberwolves won against the odds of coming back from a 20 down points lead by the Denver nuggets, who failed to capitalize on that lead to make the western conference finals.
This is the first time The Timberwolves have reached the post-season conference finals since 2003/2004 season when Kevin Garnet led the team to a 4 – 3 victory against the against the Sacramento kings. The Timberwolves will
be clashing against the Dallas Mavericks who won the OKC in a stunning 4 – 2 victory to qualify for the western conference finals.
The team has been led by the outstanding performance of their key player Anthony Edwards (AKA, the Antman), who has been very instrumental to their success throughout the post- season leading up to the conference finals. The Antman has drawn a lot of attention as the future leader of the team and future NBA star, and is even drawing comparisons to young Micheal Jordan of the 80’s.
The real question is, will the Antman in spite of all the praises, compose himself and carry the team past the western conference finals and possibly to the NBA FINALS Championship? I guess we will find out…
