Barely 2 months after their engagement, Demi Lovato and her boyfriend, Young and the Restless actor Max Ehrich, have called it quits. Demi Lovato and Max Ehrich began their relationship in March 2020 and immediately went into quarantine together. Lovato had confessed ” I knew I loved him the night I met him”. The feeling was mutual, and Ehrich proposed to Lovato on July 22 on the beach in Malibu.

This month Demi Lovato and Max celebrated their 6 month anniversary and a break up comes up 2weeks later.

But what caused this breakup ? Is this as a result of Old tweets of Ehrich which began circling on social media where he professed his love to Selena Gomez, as well as Ariana Grande and Miley Cyrus?

Or is it because the couple are back to work and out of their quarantine bubble where they spent 7 months together. Demi is still in LA while Ehrich is in Atlanta filming a project.

Some inside sources say She doesn’t trust him and thinks he’s sketchy … She feels he proposed to get attention.’.

Other sources say ‘She didn’t know who Max truly was and didn’t think he had good intentions… There were many red flags she was ignoring and trying to turn a blind eye to.’

It was a tough decision, but Demi and Max have decided to go their separate ways to focus on their respective careers,” a source said. “They have respect and love for one another and will always cherish the time they spent together.”

Shortly after that, Ehrich, 29, took to Instagram, simply posting the message, “Jesus loves you.” and turned off commenting on this post.

There is nothing pleasant about break ups. Till this moment, neither Lovato nor Ehrich have directly addressed the breakup.
