According to Lia Asanji, the inspiration behind this piece is rising from the difficulties of the past year. She stated:

The challenges of the year 2020. We all know the devil enjoys to see God’s children in agony. So in times like these when the enemy has pushed many people to say there’s a casting down, God’s word has offered me the audacity to say there’s a lifting up. Many have not made it this far. Some have lost faith in God. Others not even sure of what to believe.

The award winning gosple singer went on to say:

However, I have seen God’s mighty hand of protection, love and favour over my life this year. I couldn’t help testifying about this in this song
