Jamie Foxx Speaks For the First time following Hospitalization.

Months after his family announced that Foxx had “experienced a medical complication, He is back in front of the cameras. The 55 year old took his Instagram on Saturday to update fans on his journey to recovery, and thanking everyone for their prayers and support during this journey.

Jamie Foxx said in his clip, “I went through something that I thought I would never, ever go through,”. Foxx said, he knew people were curious to see him during this journey, but  “I didn’t want you to see me with tubes running out of me and trying to figure out if I was going to make it through.”

Jamie Foxx showered thanks on his sister Deidra Dixon and daughter Corinne Foxx, God and medical professionals for saving his life.

“I cannot tell you how great it feels to have your family kick in in such a way… And y’all know they kept it airtight, didn’t let nothing out. They protected me and that’s what I hope that everyone could have and moments like these,” Foxx said.

There were rumours that the Jamie Foxx was blind, paralyzed or a clone. The actor simply used humor to dispel these rumours even though he still did not disclose his condition. 

“I went to hell and back, and my road to recovery had some potholes as well, but I’m coming back,” Foxx declared. “I’m able to work.”

Jamie also told fans they may see him “burst into tears” on occasion because “it’s been tough, man, I was sick. But now I’ve got my legs under me so you’re going to see me.”

Other top celebrities in the likes of Will smith, The Rock, Michael B Jordan and many others, sent their love and light and expressed their joy to see Foxx back.
