Mayor John Tory of Toronto (on one knee) was out on the streets with other Torontonians to encourage our front-line workers and thank them for the marvelous job they are doing during these uncertain times to keep us all safe.
This is well appreciated Mayor Tory. He personally was on sight to show his support and that of the entire city to all who put their lives at risk on a daily so everyone else can be safe. But what the Mayor forgot to exhibit was some physical distancing, mask wearing which he preaches on a daily to keep the people safe.
The mayor apologized for his not so social distancing at that time.
Mayor Tory was at it again on Sunday at the Bellwood park in Toronto where he was seen talking to some people and again, no mask no social distancing.
Some onlookers took to twitter to point out the mayors “do as I say not as I do” attitude and were wondering if that’s how he sets an example for Torontonians. The mayor later apologized for his behavior in a tweet.
