While hosting the New Year’s Eve Party on Friday, December 31, which aired live from Miami, Miley Cyrus suffered a wardrobe malfunction just after the ball dropped. But she handled it as a pro. Miley was performing “Party in the USA” when her silver top split. She tried holding her sparkly outfit in place at the beginning of the song to no avail. She had to make her way to the backstage and her band kept going.

Miley Cyrus quickly changed behind the scenes, tossing on a red blazer from earlier in performance and returned to stage, where she definitely powered through the wardrobe malfunction.
“Everybody’s definitely looking at me now,” she said, right in line with the “Party” lyrics. After a couple more seconds, she added, “I’m still in the most clothes that I’ve ever worn on stage.”

The singer remained upbeat throughout the rest of the night. At the end of the show Miley addressed the issues of the night stating “Tonight’s show was all about being flexible, rolling with the punches, and making the best out of even the worst circumstances.” She went on …
“Let’s bring that into the New Year with us.”
