Nobody owes you help.
Most of us have gotten help from one person or another at one point in time. Sometimes, we are greedy to think what we received as help is not enough. We forget that the help we received is a sacrifice another person is making and we should be thankful no matter how small.
A simple show of gratitude can motivate the giver reach deeper into his pockets to help even more.
You’re responsible for your outcomes.
We sometimes make the most stupid mistakes of thinking blaming others gets us out of trouble. Blame shifting doesn’t make us grow. It only proves we are irresponsible.
Blame shifting will only make you lose credibility and trust among your peers. Take responsibility as that is a mature thing to do and you can only learn and improve when you accept your weakness.
Add Value to yourself.
You know the skills you obtained 10 years ago? They may not help you today in climbing up the ladder in your career. It may not even help you keep the current job you are having.
Improve your skills. Take short courses to make you more marketable and up to date with the current job market requirements. Add value to yourself that people will seek your know-how beyond your limited circle of friends.
Only the bounded seek permission.
We live in a free world today. You can decide to become whoever or whatever you want if you put your mind to it.
You don’t need to ask people’s opinion to live your own dreams. You know what you want to be. You alone knows your aspirations and your strengths. Only you can take yourself to where you want to go.
Follow your heart and break every chain that’s holding you from attaining your full potential.
Money is a reward for value.
Everybody wants the best in life. Even when you go for groceries, you choose the best you can find. You want to place your money on the most beautiful clothes, or the healthiest looking vegetable in the stall. You will not be happy consciously paying for a bad product.
Place that super value on you. That way, you will mostly attract the best employers. Place value on you so that losing you is not even an option for your family, friends and employer.
Live your dreams
You can never please everyone. Make it a role to please yourself first before you can others. Being miserable and trying to please others will only make you more depressed.
Life is way too short to live a life of regret. You never know when the time will be up for you and you have to quit the scene of this earth. Live everyday like its the last you have on earth. Make sure you are living the best of what ever dream you have.
Learn to say thank you
Thank You! Two words which are sometimes too hard to use. Appreciation for a helping hand. Acknowledging appreciation of all that someone else has done or is willing to do for you.
Do Not Let ANYONE shut you up !
Sometimes we feel we are only to be seen and not heard. That is so untrue. Everyone has a vital role to play in this life. No one should be suppressed from expressing their true self for whatever reason.
No one should stand on your opinion about anything. You should be free to air your mind and tell your story to the world.
