The nominees for the 2024 Juno Awards have just been released, and Montreal singer-songwriter Charlotte Cardin is in the lead with six nominations.
In 2022 Juno awards edition, Charlotte Cardin took home a total of four trophies of the Canadian music celebration. She is up for album of the year with her record “99 Nights”. Also, her Top 10 Canadian hit “Confetti” was among the single of the year nominees. Cardin is Rounding out her nominations, she’s up for pop album, fan choice, artist of the year and songwriter of the year.
Other major contenders this year include Toronto R&B singer Daniel Caesar and Nicholas Durocher, who performs under the name Talk. They are tied with five nominations each, several of them in key categories, including single and album.
Nelly Furtado is set to work double duty as host and performer. This years award will air live on CBC from Halifax’s Scotiabank Centre on March 24.
