Jennifer Lawrence’s Family Farm in Kentucky Burns Down in Fire

Over the weekend, Jennifer Lawrence‘s family farm in Kentucky, was severely damaged in a fire. This farm usually hosts summer camps for kids.

Camp Hi-Ho as its called, announced the news on Facebook. They wrote:

“It is with the heaviest of hearts that we confirm the news that we lost our barn last night in a horrible fire”.

The large blaze took 'over an hour' to put out with 'over 30 firefighters'

Their statement went on to write:

“We are deeply thankful that no people or animals were hurt, but we are still mourning the loss of years of hard work and memories that occurred in these walls.

Camp Hi Ho must mean so much to so many and  without a doubt, has some best childhood memories.. Even to Jennifer and her brothers Ben and Blaine grew up on the farm. The farm was then managed by their mother Karen.

Jennifer’s brother Blaine, who is the owner and director of Camp Hi-Ho, has asked parents of campers for donations to get the camp back up and running for summer 2021.

This barn/place has had a lot of history behind. Glad everyone and all animals were safe 💕

What a blessing that no one nor any of the animals were hurt
